The Wasteminator series works by organic waste, such as food residues, vegetables, pulp etc., rinse through the drain and out through the grinder. Inside the grinder itself, a rotating metal disc is mounted with some metal blocks as with 1,500 rpm. The food residues squeeze out through a grate, after which two graters peel the leftovers into very small pieces, which are then rinsed out through the drain.
