Elma VB-8206SD is a new smart 3-in-1 multi-instrument which can measure both acceleration, speed and displacement. This provides an advantage when vibrations are to be measured during driving together at different measured speeds.
The VB-8206SD is the perfect solution for the technician who, for example, works with service on fans and pumps or who needs to carry out vibration measurement and analysis on machines and machine foundations, detect damage in bearing housings or axles, and carry out alignment and balancing of machines and production equipment.
Elma VB-8206SD can measure vibrations (ACCELERATION: 0.5-199.9 m/s², RMS, PEAK, Max. Hold. SPEED: 0.5-199.9 mm/s, RMS, PEAK, Max. Hold or DISPLACEMENT up to: 0.005-1.999 mm). Data is saved on SD card as CSV file.
The instrument has built-in space for an SD card (the card is an extra accessory). Data can be logged on the card and the data can be saved in a plain text file that can be imported into Excel or other programs.
The instrument has a large easy-to-read display with auto-off. The measured parameters can be given in the following units:
ACCELERATION: m/s², ft/s² or g.
SPEED: mm/s, Cm/s or in/s.
DISPLACEMENT: mm or inch.
The instrument is delivered in a practical transport case, containing an external measuring probe with a magnet.
